Whether you are a hesitant first timer, looking to get fitter and learn a new skill, or want to push the body to the limit, we have something for you. We currently offer over 40 classes a week between our Main Studio, Studio 2, Spin Studio and the Combat Zone in Portishead. In Chepstow we run over 20 classes a week in our Studio and Spin area. We cater for all ages, genders, levels and abilities. We are very passionate about the benefits of group exercise and encourage classes to be a part of all our members weekly training schedules whatever their goal. What makes us different is the experience and passion of our instructors. We insist on keeping things varied and always take the extra step to make sure participants aren’t lost in class numbers.

Active Yoga is a strong intense class with Yoga, & Pilates to work the entire mind and body in unison to build flexibility, strength and mental focus. Focusing on whole body, fluid movements to work every muscle groups strength and range of motion.
When some people think of yoga, they imagine having to stretch like a gymnast. That makes them worry that they’re too old, unfit, or “tight” to do yoga. The truth is you’re never too old to improve flexibility, and there are many benefits from doing so, whatever your fitness background.
Active Yoga Fuses Pilates, yoga, Tai chi, active movement and many other disciplines to bring you a challenging yet calming experience. Working not only muscular flexibility but also strength and endurance, will mean that muscles will become more toned and supportive. Injury prevention, correct posture and alignment as well as the calming mental effects mean that this workout is truly a whole body experience. You can expect to feel the difference as your core muscles are engaged, this is not just an hour workout, this will give you the tools to maintain posture and poise throughout your day to day routine.

Dreaming of that perfect 6 pack but never quite got there?
Look no further than our Express Core class with certified Personal Trainer Charlie James. This exhilarating 30-minute express class is ideal if you are looking to burn fat, strengthen your core and tighten that 6 pack. With a variety of Bodyweight conditioning exercises and use of fun, weighted equipment, you will learn the tools and correct form to target your entire core unit.
This is the perfect class if your aim is to shred, get fitter, alongside working on that set of washboard abdominals. A strong core is vital for improving overall strength and power particularly when performing compound movements such as squats and deadlifts. Unfortunately, our core is normally neglected resulting in postural abnormalities and dramatically affecting technique whilst lifting. Don’t be that person and make that mistake!
HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time
Bodyweight exercises get results partly because they often involve compound movements (meaning numerous joints and muscles are engaged in each move). Compound exercises such as push-ups, lunges and chin-ups have been shown to be extremely effective for strength gains and performance improvements.
This class combines a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods, until too exhausted to continue. With a variety of exercises such as burpees, press ups, sit ups, mountain climbers and squats you will work to your own physical capacity. This is an excellent fat burning class where you will burn calories and work up a sweat. A HIIT style class with a difference.
You can expect to burn up to 600 calories, maybe even more. Hate jumping on the treadmill and doing cardio then this is the perfect class for you.

‘Daisy is a class instructor. Early morning classes can be hard work but I drag myself out of bed and get it done! I love that the class is only 30 minutes and the intensity is enough so you know you worked hard! My core strength has really increased and I’ve even started some Personal Training at the gym to take me to the next level. I love the mix of people at the hub and I never feel like my fitness level is an issue. If I have an injury then Daisy and the team adapt things for me. It’s been the best gym for me and I can’t imagine going anywhere else to train. Definitely the place for me, couldn’t recommend it enough.’
