Hub Update – Covid-19

Dear Hubbers

The Blip in the Matrix is now upon us:

Over the last few days we have worked through every option and every element of safety to keep going. It is now time to support the UK, the health and safety of our Hubbers and most importantly the NHS in our endeavours to defeat the challenge that we all face.

With a heavy heart and extreme sadness I announce the temporary closure of HubGyms, Portishead/Chepstow and Crossfit Portishead with effect from 1900 hrs today, 20th March.

My personal challenges of this decision are no smaller and no greater than those of anyone else, and my desire to open again, once it is safe to do so, will be driven from the same desires that have enabled me to run the Businesses for the last 10 years. The future of the gym is not uncertain, it is just suspended, for what I hope is as short a period as possible. During the closure I will work with my team to set goals for our future and be ready to support Hubbers back into their Fitness when we all emerge from the other side.

My heartfelt thanks go to my Team who have been there for me and all of you, without them the Hub would not be the place it is.
We will be providing on line training and support as far as possible and for as many of you that want to join in.

For as long as the Hub is closed your monthly membership will be frozen, no payments will be taken from April onwards. Any time lost to you from the date of closure until the end of March will be credited back once we re-open and the memberships are reactivated. If you have paid a full year up front the frozen period will be added on the time period.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support and I hope to see you again very soon. In the meantime please stay safe, look after your families and remember to be kind, never before has there been a need to come together and support one another.
